Brick Paver Sealing
Brick Paver Sealing, Pasco County, Florida. Brick Paver Sealing is an important maintenance tool to keep brick paver driveways, walkways, patios, and pool decks looking as beautiful as the day they were installed.
Brick Paver Sealing enhances color, brightness and makes them easier to clean. To keep your brick pavers from fading, it is important to seal them. Even the toughest of pavers don't stand a chance against the Florida sun, with concrete even fading over time because of the UV rays. Choosing paver sealing will keep your color consistent and un-faded longer.
Brick Paver Sealing will ease the routine of cleaning. We recommend pressure washing your brick pavers after the Paver Sealing has been done 1-2 times per year. We recommend in the fall before Halloween or Thanksgiving after the summer months of rains and after the leaves fall in October. Pressure washing in the spring before Memorial Day is also a good idea because this will wash away the pollen that has fallen.
Superior Brick Paver Installations, Inc. uses URE-SEAL H2O Brick Paver Sealants. URE-SEAL H2O is a water-based sealant that includes a hardening agent. This agent helps to harden the sand between the joints. It does not make the sand hard like grout but does harden it. Seeds are airborne and do not grow from under the pavers. Airborne seeds that find a soft sandy or dirt area to embed themselves, will grow. Paver sealing will not stop this from happening but will slow it down. Blowing & hosing off your brick pavers after landscaping and mowing will also help to reduce weed growth.
We recommend to NOT Re-Seal any less than 3-5 years. The URE-SEAL H2O Brick Paver Sealant by ICT is a commercial grade sealant, it enhances the colors and makes the brick pavers easier to clean. Brick Paver Sealing too often will cause build up.
Brick Paver Sealant build-up can cause the pavers to have a milky white haze and/or begin to peel. We recommend avoiding stripping brick pavers at all costs. To avoid the stripping process, simply hose off pavers regularly and/or pressure wash 1-2 times per year.
Brick Pavers are an outdoor product and are not meant to be treated or look like tile. Brick Paver Sealing should never result in your pavers being slippery or looking like glass. A nice sheen is what the pavers should have after the paver sealing process has been completed. Simple maintenance of your brick pavers should help to keep your brick pavers looking beautiful for years.
